DESCRIPTION:This workshop will run from 9:30 to 4:30 each day.   Coffee\, tea and snacks will be provided. Please bring your own lunch. \nLearning about Subtypes takes our understanding of Enneagram Types to a whole new level.  We come to see that there are three distinct versions of each type\, shaped by the basic instinct that is dominant in a person. \nWhat does this mean? We each have 3 primary survival instincts: self-preservation\, sexual (sometimes called one-on-one) and social. Each instinct is important to our survival.  One of these three is dominant in each of us.  It is this dominant instinct which has the biggest influence on how our type expresses itself in our lives.  So\, for example\, there are three 1s – a self-preservation 1\, a sexual 1 and a social 1.  Each is a Subtype. They are quite distinct\, but nonetheless clearly 1s. \nBea Chestnut has done a masterful job of explaining how the instincts create the subtypes and\, having studied with her\, we offer her perspective in our teaching.  It is brilliant. As an example\, as a sexual 5\, I (Sue)\, care more about connection and intimacy than the other 5s.  It is the dominant sexual instinct that makes my tendency to move into connection different than the other 5s. \nLearning about subtypes helps us know ourselves more deeply and again gives us important insight into the people in our lives.  We encourage you to join us. \nDuring the 2-day workshop\, we will cover the 27 types in a way that helps you have an embodied sense of these differences.  Some may come away with a deeper confidence in their type\, because the nuances are clearer. \nRegister now.

DESCRIPTION:We will be using ZOOM for those who want to attend\, but live too far away. The access information will be available a few days before each panel. Also\, the cost is $30 each for those who come to 5 or more. (Please note that the pay what you can offer applies here as well.) \nWe will spend the evening focused on one type\, hearing about the experiences of that type through a panel of 3-5 people. There will be a brief didactic introduction. Then we will invite panelists to speak about how the type is alive in them in the moment\, given what they have heard or what they have come with to the evening. When possible\, we will explore panelist’s experiences more deeply through somatic work. SUMMARY:2- Day Somatic Workshop with the Enneagram
DESCRIPTION:These 2 days involve working in a deeply sacred space with the often overlooked and neglected information our body offers us for our healing and growth.  By bringing our attention to our bodies and what they know\, we are able to make more conscious and constructive choices in our day to day lives\, less contracted within the lens of our Enneagram Type. In these 2 days\, we will be encouraged to notice how our body is\, where we hold tension or tightening\, and in doing the counterintuitive move of going towards it\, giving it space\, sometimes letting it speak\, we learn about ourselves. Please note:  We limit the attendance at this workshop to 18\, so that everyone has an opportunity to do some somatic work.  As a result\, the fee for the workshop is $225. This is an important part of our growth that over time helps us move beyond the limits of our type structure. Beyond our type structure lies the essence of who we really are\, our True Nature\, the Divine as it lives in us. While we have all aspects of the Divine within us\, each type opens most fully to one aspect of the Divine\, the Holy Idea of the type. As we face our deepest fears\, arising from the false perception that we are separated from God\, from Source\, from the Creator\, we can sense into and experience the spiritual realms of our type more fully. We can begin to express the aspect of the Divine most available to us as one of our most profound gifts. SUMMARY:Developing Your Inner Observer
DESCRIPTION:We need to intentionally develop our capacity to witness how our type is working in the day to day\, if we want to change. Observing and then pausing are important parts or our being able to make different\, less automatic choices\, i.e.\, to be less type-bound.  And in developing our Inner Observer\, we are simultaneously deepening our receptivity to the subtle intelligence of our Centres.  During this day\, participants will have the opportunity to practice working with their Inner Observer\, both strengthening it and working through some of the subtle obstacles we have to noticing ourselves in this way. \nRegister now.
